We are now in 2013 and many of us are already preparing, planning and looking forward to their websites’ Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO in 2013 is definitely a must if you want to succeed online as most of your competitors are doing all they can to have better online visibility. So, what are your SEO plans for 2013?
I don’t think it is important to tell you this but it’s good to remind ourselves again and again that fresh and unique content is a MUST in SEO. You may do all the work and hire the best professional but if your website does not have fresh and unique content, you are far from achieving success in the SERPs. Whatever update to Google Algorithms, fresh and unique content will still be the number one aspect to take care of.
In addition, always maintain your website design to be simple and clean with clean coding and relevant tags all through the pages. Avoid using a lot of scripts wherever possible and always keep your navigation structure simple and straight-forward so visitors don’t get confused.
SEO in itself is not really complicated but it surely entails a lot and a lot of aspects. The better optimized your website is, the better result you will obtain as you move on to marketing the site across the web. So, it all starts from the site first.
As we all know, backlinks creation is an important part of the SEO plan of a website. However, spamming blogs and forums with a lot of low quality backlinks may penalized the site’s results in the SERPs. The best way to go with backlinks is to build high quality backlinks on reputed websites as we focus on quality rather than quantity.
